Director Biography - LaQuanda Plantt
LaQuanda Plantt, born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut founded ElleQ Casting in 2009. In Spring 2016, LaQuanda returned to The Art Institute of Atlanta to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Filmmaking. It was while a student at AiA, LaQuanda made her Directorial debut filming “Valerie Morgan: TV Qualified”. The film was the only comedy in her Senior class; as a result of her work she won Best in Show at her graduating Portfolio Show, December 2017. She plans to direct and produce more through her company, ElleQ Productions. LaQuanda wants to encourage others that dreams are not limited, if you believe and work hard towards that belief, you can achieve anything you dream to do.
