"Leon" has a number of film & TV projects in development, Leon co-star’s & produces the UMC Channel’s international TV series “40 & Single” Leon will be producing, directing & starring a comedy pilot “Pope of Ave. B” for his NYC production company, Motion Mob Films. Leon will also be releasing his band’s second album “Love Is A Beautiful Thing” on Spectra Music label and a North American Tour with his band, Leon & The Peoples. 
Many fans were first wowed by his appearance in Madonna’s most famous video “Like a Prayer,” but more and more fans flocked to the theaters to see him in the lead role of Disney’s blockbuster hit “Cool Runnings.” He soon graced many excellent story lines such as New Line's urban sports drama “Above the Rim,” Tri-Star's action hit “Cliffhanger,” 20th Fox' hit movie “Waiting to Exhale,” Columbia Picts “Ali,” HBO’s series “Oz,” and SHOWTIME series “Resurrection Blvd.” 
Leon continued to shine in musical roles such as Robert Townsend’s “The Five Heartbeats” (voted the #1 African American film by AOL), NBC's Emmy Winning mini-series “The Temptations,” as lead singer, David Ruffin and the authorized biography of “Little Richard” as Little Richard himself, both earning him NAACP Best Actor nominations. 
Most recent credits include Bafta Winner Leila Djansi’s films “And Then There Was You” & “Where Children Play," “Cover” directed by Bill Duke and a 2016 National Tour of the hit play “Things Your Man Won’t Do.”
